question/problem with Slash wheel

Postby WesTaylor » Tue May 18, 2010 11:02 pm

Hey im having this thing happen with my Slash. When the left rear wheel free spins, it acts like the wheel nut isnt tight. Like it gets that vibration and makes a noise....an example is like on a lawnmower, the little wheels that are on the front of the deck, when they get spinnin very fast they vibrate and make a noise, my wheel is doin that but it runs fine on the ground. what could it be?

Wes the best thing to do to make your 2wd faster is take it apart once a month and inspect everything.
Oil the bearings and put fresh grease in the transmission, or better yet fill up an old coffee cup with WD40 and let your bearings soak in it overnight. My uncle did this once a month to get his cars performing well.
WD40 also removes rust from screws and other metals.
Sounds like a bearing problem to me.
